Fall Trends

 Hi, I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my blog! Today we will be talking about fall trends. Fall is here summer is gone and I already miss it. Recently on TikTok I have seen some outfits and trend predictions that I want to talk about. I love fashion and learning new stuff about it so let's jump into it. My current feed has been talking deer print, like Bambi being the trend. I very much dislike it. It is not my favorite. I get how it can tie into fall, but I personally think it is a miss. I feel like people could pull it off, but I do not think it is cute. 

Lastly, I want to talk about this set from Never Fully Dressed that I saw on TikTok which is a perfect example of a fall classic. This is my dream set. I am obsessed. The color and the framing make it so unique and different. And if you know me that is everything to me, to have something that is not like others. The only downside is the price. The top alone is $170 which is out of my budget, but it is still a hit for me. 

This was short today, because I am going to be doing this every week of this October.

Mockneck Dupes pt. 2

 Hi, today we will be continuing our mock neck dupe talk.  If you are new here, I am Alana Lowery welcome to my blog! Like I said in my previous post this trend has been everywhere so let's jump in and continue to talk about it! 

We have Prints by Eve. I always believe in supporting small business and second local business. So, this small business gives a country but cute mock neck that I love. The print is something that looks like a dear and the vibrant colors are so cute. This is a higher price coming in at $90. Which you do save about $60 when comparing it the Parke prices. They have not dropped their stuff, but you are able to preorder at this time. 

Secondly, we have Remy Gee. If you are looking for the Parke look with the letters cross the chest this has that look. They have only pre-orders right now. What I love about most of these brands is that you are getting the bang for your buck by the mock necks being made of terry cotton. This has been important to me lately because I want to be low tox and this is a start. Their price point is $ 65. 

Lastly, we have Wear Malibu. This has that vibrate look that a lot of these brands have. I love the orange it is such a good shade of color. They don't have their prices at the time, but they will be launching soon. 

In conclusion, if you are on a budge, you can find something in your range of less. Thanks to Chirstopher Westbrook on TikTok for some of the brands that he found.

Mocknecks Dupes

 Hi, if you are new here, I am Alana Lowery and welcome to my blog! I been trying and, I am in a rut, but I am praying to stop being lazy. And start doing thing I love like this blog so. Let's get into it! If you are like me, you know that the mocknecks sweatshirts have been everywhere. The most popular has been the Parke sweatshirt but if you are like me the price is out of your budget right now. So, I am here to help, I have found some dupes that are affordable for you. 

First, we have the dupes from Ross they have so many different options. My favorite is the Jesus mockneck I love it. It is faith based and cute. The Christian girlies like me have been obsessed with them and they are the most affordable coming out to $14. Next, we have our local boutiques in Charleston, Millie Lynn. They have really cute ones other than just the Charleston ones, but these are $74 which is more affordable than the Parke. I love the supporting boutique because you are supporting your locals. The print is cute and I love the blue and pink.

 Lastly, we have Sundae Society it is made of 100% cotton which I love because it is better for your skin. And they are super vibrate and cute. They have drops you have to be in the inside scoop for, but they are affordable and fun.

Trends That I am Currently Obsessed With!

 Hi beautiful people, if you are new here, I am Alana Lowery and welcome to my blog! I have been extremely busy and out of it at the same time, but I have put a reminder in my phone, so I work on this blog every week.  Today we are going to dive in some trends that I am obsessed with currently. I am thinking about making this into one of my series that I have. Let me know, but for now let's get into it. The first trend I have been loving is the bandage dresses. Guys when I tell you I have not seen someone look bad in this dress I mean it. It is so flattering such a good dress style. As we see in this picture of @amiramarie.xo. I know y'all see how flattering it is right? So fitting, it is an amazing that they bought back this trend from back in the day. 

Lastly for now the next trend I would like to talk about is this style and jacket piece. I think this fall this jacket will be a statement piece. IT IS SO CHIC I LOVE IT! I need to find where I can buy it and get it asap. I have similar jeans but in blue. So, when I find it, I can style it perfectly. It adds an element to the outfit that screams October and the color don't even get me started on how perfect it is. @katelynmdennis girl if you ever see this please let's be friends and teach me how to thrift like this.

SHES BACK!!!

 Hi, I am Alana Lowery and welcome to my blog! I know I know it has been a few month since I post. But guess what..... I AM BACK FOR GOOD. I will be posting every week with new fashion idea, dos and don'ts and of course hot takes. For this post I thought would just talk about what I been up to and what I want to do and look forward to. First, I have been traveling and doing theatre in the last few months. I also have recently graduated college which is still crazy to even say. If you are currently in college it goes by fast and when people say post grad is hard believe them. I am trying to find a job and it hard, to say the least. 

I am looking forward to doing everything that I can because you know they say the world is your oyster, so I am going to be doing everything from, fashion, to podca
sting, theatre, social media, writing etc. I am excited but scared for this new journey.

2026 Trends

 Hi! I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my blog. I know it has been a while since y'all have hear from me, but I am back. Let me tell y'all busy isn't even the word I have had classes, plays, musicals, and other obligations. Well enough with that lets talk about trends that I think will be taking off in 2026. This is obviously based on what I have seen in real life and social media. So, let's dive in. 

 

The biggest trend I think we will see is whimsical looks this will pop off big time. We have had polka dots, cheetah and leopard print, y2k, etc. I believe this will be the new look of 2026. I personally love the idea of whimsical it is so freeing to have. There is just so many different ways to style it because it truly free. I think about Fancy Nancy when it comes to this style. For the people who does not know or not familiar to it. In this style there is so many colors, patterns, and mixing and matching. This look goes hand and hand with strips. I am currently obsessed with strips I have been wanting to buy stripped headbands, shirts, pants, etc. I truly believe that it will become the new polkas and people will be just as obsessed. 

Next is accessories we have already been seeing this, but the oval glasses are popping off people love them. I have been wanting to switch my real glasses for them. Then there is scarf/ lace for accessory for the side of jeans. I think this make an outfit very fun. Flower clips and hats these are so cute it adds so much to the hair. Lastly, layered jewelry this is so cool every time I see someone with this, I think they are the coolest person.

New Years Expo

 Hi! I am Alana Lowery and welcome to my blog. Since the year is coming to an end and Final are here. I wanted to close out the year with a New Years outfit idea. This is a great inspiration for outfits. When I think of the song by Taylor Swift call New Year's Day. That say, "there's glitter on the floor after the party." Glitter is all I can think about so glitter and sparkly dresses are the way to go. All of these pieces are good ideas for New Years this is a HIT. Theses outfits give me Hannah Montana vibes. I love it. 

If you do not like spark. I got you. This set has been on my mind, and I can't get over it. It is like furry on the end of the sleeves and pant. It is a need not a want at this point because of how long I have had it in my Wishlist. I found it cozy and dressy at the same time. I think the loafers are so comfortable and looks very good with this outfit. This is a HIT. 

Lastly, if we want to be super casual and laid back then I think this outfit will be super cute and casual. I love the off the shoulder look of the sweater with some jean and flats. It is a HIT. I think this looks really good with glasses, but I think that only work if you have real prescribed glasses. I really think it is a MISS when people who do not wear glasses wear them just because.

Christmas outfit ideas

 Hi! I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my blog. Today we will be talking Christmas outfit for the holidays. First, I will go into something classy and dressy and then we will talk more casual. Let's dive in. 

I love this outfit it is so classy and elegant. This would be good for a dinner or a Christmas party. Something about the fur and the red screams winter. I love this color. And the kitten heels compliments so well and they match the dress. This is a HIT in my book. This dress is expensive so some cheaper there is some on Amazon and Fashion Nova. 

Second, we have this plaid skirt paired with this turtleneck and fur 

coat. I love love love this outfit. I need it in my closet immediately. I have been wanting a fur coat for the longest time. I saw some at Old Navy they were still too expensive to me at the time. The plaid skirt really sells it for me it gives it that pop of color and also gives the vibes of a Ralph Lauren Christmas. This is my favorite HIT of all time. They have really cute boots at Target with this kind of heel. they are like 50 dollars. I think that is an okay price, but I am sure Amazon has some cheap ones.

Lastly, is a whole outfit from Amazon you can find. You still look dressed up and put together it is just easy. 

I love a good skirt and how they look. This skirt paired with some boots make this cozy and winter. I love the pop of color from the sweater. Then, the jewelry to make it look more elegant. This is a HIT. Very casual not too much or dressy.

Wicked: For Good Premiere

 Hi, I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my blog! Since last week Wicked came out I thought what better way to celebrate then to break down the fashion on carpet for the Wicked part 2 premiere. First let's start with Ariana Grande her carpet look was a little basic, but the pink goes with the theme of her character in Wicked, so it makes sense. Because her character in Wicked Glinda is all about pink, girly, and bubbly. I think it is stunning, so I give it a HIT, but I did I expected more for her.                               

                                                                             

 
Next, we have Michelle Yeoh with this huge yellow dress. I this it is different from anything I have seen but something is just off about it is not stunning and jaw dropping to me. I think that everything is just too big and overwhelming. I see the vision, but it just did not think it landed like she wanted it to. I think if the dress was smaller, I would have loved it more than what we got here. This is a MISS for sure.                                             

Lastly, the iconic Cynthia Erivo this outfit is most icon outfit I have seen Cynthia wear. It goes so well with her character in Wicked. I loved this look so much it is giving Wick Witch from the West. The mask and the cap look are my favorite which surprised me. Because in the movie she is not really the bad guy she is the hero trying to save OZ. So, I see this as kind of representation of her being the hero even though people see her as this dark wick witch. So, to me this is a HIT it is everything I needed and expected to out of her.

Thanksgiving Expo

 Hey y'all! I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my blog. Today we will be talking about Thanksgiving outfit ideas for both men and women. Since Thanksgiving is next week, I wanted to dive into some looks to help y'all out. We will first start with women outfits. I think this outfit is the perfect thanksgiving outfit. When I think of Thanksgiving color are yellow, brown, and orange. This dress is not an overwhelming amount of brown, so it does not over do with the bold brown jacket. Which is awesome because they blended so well. The first thing I think about when I think of fall is boots. Because it is that breezy, cold weather so you want to be cozy. So long boots brings together the outfit. Then paired with the yellow purse really gives the pop of color and makes a statement. 

But if you do not want to dress up you can do something a little bit more 

casual with some jeans and a cute top or jacket. But to make it feel

 and look more put together do some accessories. Like in this

 second image she is laid back and add a brown and white scarf 

that made it so cute. Her shoes are some loafers that are trending 

right now. Which I think is so costal and they were very popular 

this summer in women's fashion. But I think they are going to be

 trendy this fall too. 

Next, we are going to into some men's outfits , you will see the image for visual aspects. I think for this Thanksgiving outfit for men it is very chill and laid back. Some simple jeans and a jacket with a sweater is very casual and fall vibes. If it is cold, you can do some layering with jacket, flannel, and sweater. I think this would look so good. Carhartt jackets are so comfortable and so fashionable, but they are expensive. So, my go to Amazon has cheap look alike.

Funky Fashion

 Hi y'all I am Alana Lowery and welcome back my blog! Today we will dive into the different trends that funky but fun. I am loving different fashion styles that goes outside of the box. First, I love the scarf as necklaces. When people add charms to make it their own it is so cute. @kyliefaithjewelry_ is a great example I love how you mix and match different charms and scarf to make it more you. It gives the outfit a pop of color. Also, you can wear scarves as a belt I did that this week. It was super cute. It is a HIT for me! 

Next, ties for women. I love this trend is very much men corporate but for women. when I see a women do this trend they give me the coolest vibes ever. My favorite tiktoker right now Eve her style is so cool, unique, and funky. I love it. It works extremely well in this video she specifically wears it as a scarf which I am obsessed with. She also used the tie as a belt. She is also wearing a beret and that is the next topic I would like to dive into. Beret is back in style, I think this is also so fun for fall. Isn't it crazy how fashion always repeats itself? berets were popular in the 19th century and now they back in style again. So, it is a HIT in my book I love when people take something from the past and make it their own with modern fashion.

Lastly, this one is a bit crazy, but I think it is fun! People have 

been doing this and it actually looks decent. They are wearing men 

button downs as skirts. Taking two shirts and buttoning them 

around their waist. This is such a niche fashion trend, but I think it is simple and can go far. I do see it not looking good if one does not get the right colors to make it not clash but at the same time make it your own. In the picture these two colors go together so well. I think this trend can be a HIT & MISS.

Men's fashion

 Hi y'all I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my blog! Today we will talk about men's fashion something we have not done yet, it is very new to this blog. We have only talk about women fashion so far, but I wanted to switch it up and talk a little bit about men fashion fall edition. really like when men put effort into their outfits something about it just make it more attractive obviously but also put together. I will say that sweatpants every day or every week is a big MISS it gets to point where it is just boring. I get it comfy and not feel like putting on clothes is okay every once and awhile but not every day. Slides this is a man stable when they want a quick shoe this is the Birkenstocks of men shoes. We need to switch it up. Here on campus, I see the same men wearing them every single day. Total MISS. 

Fall fashion for men can be both comfy but also dressy a little bit it does always have to be sweatpants and hoodie. @Sweethatco is the perfect example of fall style. Their clothes are expensive, but you can easily find clothes on Amazon, Tj Maxx, and H&M. H&M clothes for men especially have popped off. Sweethatco founder's taste is incredibly good. Here is a picture for example. This style is a such a big HIT in my opinion. Jackets like this style and a baseball cap is just chef's kiss. Baggy jeans are definitely a go to and what I recommend but skinny is a MISS in so many different eras. I think it is also more comfortable and looser. 

Last thing we will talk about shoe choices. In the picture you see Adidas that is a really good example of a daily shoe. Along with Nike, Converses, and Tennis shoes. For that dressier vibe Loafers, Boat shoes, and Sperry are good options.

Fall Fashion pt. 2

Hi y'all, I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my vlog. Today we will be diving into part two of fall fashion. First thing we will talk about is flannels. Flannels have always been a fall favorite, but I have mixed feelings about it. Flannels can be dressed really well but also the length can make it not look as good. Really oversized and long flannel on a person makes it look weird but the right length on of flannel on a person makes it look good. So, flannels are a HIT & MISS depending on the execution of the outfit. 

Second, layering shirts over one another. @Audreytrullinger is a great example of this trend. Here is a picture for visuals. I love it, it is so cute and fun. This is a HIT it is something different and it is a basic layering that you can just throw it on when you need a quick fit. This with some cute jeans or skirt with some long Hunter boot. Hunter boots are something I need to invest in especially in Charleston. They are good for so many things like rain, mud, and work. So, with the rain here in Charleston I think it is a good idea. They are just so durable which I love in a shoe. It is such a HIT. @oh.binma outfit with the boost is a great example. I love her outfit the vibes are giving rain day in England, with the coat and skirt. 

Lastly, OVERALLS they are so comfy and easy to throw on. 

They are also an easy outfit idea. This is one of my go to outfits 

I love to dress around it because you can just mix and match it up. 

It is so much fun to do I feel like a doll when I get to mix and match

my clothes up. For example, there is a picture of me on the right. I think fashion is what you make it but it is good to know what is in and out in the fashion world and that is what I am here to help with!

Fall Fashion (part 1)

 

Hi, I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my blog! Today we are going to talk about fall fashion the biggest statement that are trending right now! I am going to make this a two-part blog! The first item is Fyre boots they are all the craze right now! Fyre boots is a great fall boot that styles well with many outfits. For example, like a cute denim set and Fyre boots with white sweater socks to bring the cozy fall look to the outfit! @Issaalonte her outfit is an HIT is the perfect fall fit! the only downside about Fyre boots is that they are expensive they cost about $400. But it is okay I got y'all with some dupe or cheaper Fyre boot options. The first option is at some Marshall's they sell Fyre boots for $125 which is over half the price, you still get the name brand, and the quality of what they are known for. The second option is on Amazon they have a lot of dupes. All you have to do is look up "Fyre boot dupes" and many options will come up. Next for fall fashion is DENIM DENIM DENIM, it is a staple in fall fashion right now! A BIG HIT I think the denim is just pure perfection. You can dress it down or dress it up! Something about this style with a brown belt just gives it that fall vibe. Lastly, for today we will talk about UGG boots for the fall it is a hit, but I have seen a lot of people wear bedroom UGG slippers with their outfits. I think this is a MISS unfortunately. It makes the outfit look like it is lacking and with some outfits make it seem like you are going to bed. Overall, UGG boots are always a great fall shoe!! This was part one of fall fashion. I will talk mostly about women fashion, but I will include a little bit men fashion too. I'm so excited to fill y'all in on all the trends! Today we will dive into my favorite trend right now workout causal. I love dressing up but also love being causal and this is the perfect mix. @Riannagail on TikTok is the perfect example of this style. In the link attached to her username is her outfit.  It is a simple work out set that was elevated with a jean jacket! This is a HIT that I think will be trending for a while. I think that it is casual and comfortable but also adds a little flare. The New Balance shoes also make the fit look both casual and like you are going to the gym.  Something I would add to the outfit is a headband to make it even better! I have worn an outfit like this on my TikTok, and people loved it. They were asking wear I got it from.  Places I would wear this look is to go on a coffee run or to run errands at the store.  Overall, this is a great trend that I will continue to wear.
