Trends That I am Currently Obsessed With!

 Hi beautiful people, if you are new here, I am Alana Lowery and welcome to my blog! I have been extremely busy and out of it at the same time, but I have put a reminder in my phone, so I work on this blog every week.  Today we are going to dive in some trends that I am obsessed with currently. I am thinking about making this into one of my series that I have. Let me know, but for now let's get into it. The first trend I have been loving is the bandage dresses. Guys when I tell you I have not seen someone look bad in this dress I mean it. It is so flattering such a good dress style. As we see in this picture of @amiramarie.xo. I know y'all see how flattering it is right? So fitting, it is an amazing that they bought back this trend from back in the day. 

Lastly for now the next trend I would like to talk about is this style and jacket piece. I think this fall this jacket will be a statement piece. IT IS SO CHIC I LOVE IT! I need to find where I can buy it and get it asap. I have similar jeans but in blue. So, when I find it, I can style it perfectly. It adds an element to the outfit that screams October and the color don't even get me started on how perfect it is. @katelynmdennis girl if you ever see this please let's be friends and teach me how to thrift like this.

SHES BACK!!!

 Hi, I am Alana Lowery and welcome to my blog! I know I know it has been a few month since I post. But guess what..... I AM BACK FOR GOOD. I will be posting every week with new fashion idea, dos and don'ts and of course hot takes. For this post I thought would just talk about what I been up to and what I want to do and look forward to. First, I have been traveling and doing theatre in the last few months. I also have recently graduated college which is still crazy to even say. If you are currently in college it goes by fast and when people say post grad is hard believe them. I am trying to find a job and it hard, to say the least. 

I am looking forward to doing everything that I can because you know they say the world is your oyster, so I am going to be doing everything from, fashion, to podca
sting, theatre, social media, writing etc. I am excited but scared for this new journey.

2026 Trends

 Hi! I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my blog. I know it has been a while since y'all have hear from me, but I am back. Let me tell y'all busy isn't even the word I have had classes, plays, musicals, and other obligations. Well enough with that lets talk about trends that I think will be taking off in 2026. This is obviously based on what I have seen in real life and social media. So, let's dive in. 

 

The biggest trend I think we will see is whimsical looks this will pop off big time. We have had polka dots, cheetah and leopard print, y2k, etc. I believe this will be the new look of 2026. I personally love the idea of whimsical it is so freeing to have. There is just so many different ways to style it because it truly free. I think about Fancy Nancy when it comes to this style. For the people who does not know or not familiar to it. In this style there is so many colors, patterns, and mixing and matching. This look goes hand and hand with strips. I am currently obsessed with strips I have been wanting to buy stripped headbands, shirts, pants, etc. I truly believe that it will become the new polkas and people will be just as obsessed. 

Next is accessories we have already been seeing this, but the oval glasses are popping off people love them. I have been wanting to switch my real glasses for them. Then there is scarf/ lace for accessory for the side of jeans. I think this make an outfit very fun. Flower clips and hats these are so cute it adds so much to the hair. Lastly, layered jewelry this is so cool every time I see someone with this, I think they are the coolest person.

New Years Expo

 Hi! I am Alana Lowery and welcome to my blog. Since the year is coming to an end and Final are here. I wanted to close out the year with a New Years outfit idea. This is a great inspiration for outfits. When I think of the song by Taylor Swift call New Year's Day. That say, "there's glitter on the floor after the party." Glitter is all I can think about so glitter and sparkly dresses are the way to go. All of these pieces are good ideas for New Years this is a HIT. Theses outfits give me Hannah Montana vibes. I love it. 

If you do not like spark. I got you. This set has been on my mind, and I can't get over it. It is like furry on the end of the sleeves and pant. It is a need not a want at this point because of how long I have had it in my Wishlist. I found it cozy and dressy at the same time. I think the loafers are so comfortable and looks very good with this outfit. This is a HIT. 

Lastly, if we want to be super casual and laid back then I think this outfit will be super cute and casual. I love the off the shoulder look of the sweater with some jean and flats. It is a HIT. I think this looks really good with glasses, but I think that only work if you have real prescribed glasses. I really think it is a MISS when people who do not wear glasses wear them just because.

Christmas outfit ideas

 Hi! I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my blog. Today we will be talking Christmas outfit for the holidays. First, I will go into something classy and dressy and then we will talk more casual. Let's dive in. 

I love this outfit it is so classy and elegant. This would be good for a dinner or a Christmas party. Something about the fur and the red screams winter. I love this color. And the kitten heels compliments so well and they match the dress. This is a HIT in my book. This dress is expensive so some cheaper there is some on Amazon and Fashion Nova. 

Second, we have this plaid skirt paired with this turtleneck and fur 

coat. I love love love this outfit. I need it in my closet immediately. I have been wanting a fur coat for the longest time. I saw some at Old Navy they were still too expensive to me at the time. The plaid skirt really sells it for me it gives it that pop of color and also gives the vibes of a Ralph Lauren Christmas. This is my favorite HIT of all time. They have really cute boots at Target with this kind of heel. they are like 50 dollars. I think that is an okay price, but I am sure Amazon has some cheap ones.

Lastly, is a whole outfit from Amazon you can find. You still look dressed up and put together it is just easy. 

I love a good skirt and how they look. This skirt paired with some boots make this cozy and winter. I love the pop of color from the sweater. Then, the jewelry to make it look more elegant. This is a HIT. Very casual not too much or dressy.

Wicked: For Good Premiere

 Hi, I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my blog! Since last week Wicked came out I thought what better way to celebrate then to break down the fashion on carpet for the Wicked part 2 premiere. First let's start with Ariana Grande her carpet look was a little basic, but the pink goes with the theme of her character in Wicked, so it makes sense. Because her character in Wicked Glinda is all about pink, girly, and bubbly. I think it is stunning, so I give it a HIT, but I did I expected more for her.                               

                                                                             

 
Next, we have Michelle Yeoh with this huge yellow dress. I this it is different from anything I have seen but something is just off about it is not stunning and jaw dropping to me. I think that everything is just too big and overwhelming. I see the vision, but it just did not think it landed like she wanted it to. I think if the dress was smaller, I would have loved it more than what we got here. This is a MISS for sure.                                             

Lastly, the iconic Cynthia Erivo this outfit is most icon outfit I have seen Cynthia wear. It goes so well with her character in Wicked. I loved this look so much it is giving Wick Witch from the West. The mask and the cap look are my favorite which surprised me. Because in the movie she is not really the bad guy she is the hero trying to save OZ. So, I see this as kind of representation of her being the hero even though people see her as this dark wick witch. So, to me this is a HIT it is everything I needed and expected to out of her.

Thanksgiving Expo

 Hey y'all! I am Alana Lowery and welcome back to my blog. Today we will be talking about Thanksgiving outfit ideas for both men and women. Since Thanksgiving is next week, I wanted to dive into some looks to help y'all out. We will first start with women outfits. I think this outfit is the perfect thanksgiving outfit. When I think of Thanksgiving color are yellow, brown, and orange. This dress is not an overwhelming amount of brown, so it does not over do with the bold brown jacket. Which is awesome because they blended so well. The first thing I think about when I think of fall is boots. Because it is that breezy, cold weather so you want to be cozy. So long boots brings together the outfit. Then paired with the yellow purse really gives the pop of color and makes a statement. 

But if you do not want to dress up you can do something a little bit more 

casual with some jeans and a cute top or jacket. But to make it feel

 and look more put together do some accessories. Like in this

 second image she is laid back and add a brown and white scarf 

that made it so cute. Her shoes are some loafers that are trending 

right now. Which I think is so costal and they were very popular 

this summer in women's fashion. But I think they are going to be

 trendy this fall too. 

Next, we are going to into some men's outfits , you will see the image for visual aspects. I think for this Thanksgiving outfit for men it is very chill and laid back. Some simple jeans and a jacket with a sweater is very casual and fall vibes. If it is cold, you can do some layering with jacket, flannel, and sweater. I think this would look so good. Carhartt jackets are so comfortable and so fashionable, but they are expensive. So, my go to Amazon has cheap look alike.
